National Employability Challenge 2018

The Challenge, brought to you by RateMyApprenticeship and PwC, aims to increase your knowledge and understanding of career options post A-levels, develop your employability skills and give you valuable experience to add to your CV.

All you have to do is answer a series of employability based questions. Each month champions will be selected to attend the Final, who will compete in a variety of career enhancing activities.

The overall winner will win paid work experience at PwC and take home an iPad Mini, with two lucky runners up also winning paid work experience with PwC and plenty more on offer for other lucky winners!

The Challenge is open! You can register and begin Stage 1 in order to start your journey to making your mark and becoming super employable.

Note – although the competition is open to all year groups only year 12 and 13 student scan attend the finals.

National Healthcare Weekend – 17/18 November

Hundreds of healthcare professionals from across the UK will be volunteering to present and network with your students who are interested in:
  • Medicine

  • Veterinary Medicine

  • Psychology

at National Healthcare Weekend on the 18th and 19th November taking place in  London.

It is a highly valuable opportunity for your students to network with a variety of healthcare professions,
learn about work experience opportunities and how to make a successful application.

Registration is £25 for students on the Saturday conferences and there is an optional UCAS lecture available on Sunday for each specialty.

Medicine Careers Day – Year 10 – 13 Students

A full day, during the summer holiday (Wednesday 26th July) at Imperial College London where doctors and medical students will spend the day teaching students all about careers in healthcare covering topics such as the UCAS personal statement, interview techniques, UKCAT preparation and work experience.
